Visual Development - Spikes and Vines

Concept Modeling, texturing and rendering of Vines and Spikes. Created in 3DSMax using Tyflow Particle System Beta, and rendered with Redshift. After that, the system was recreated in Houdini, but no frames here were made using the Houdini version. One of the challenging things was the spikes distribution and how to build it in a way that looks organic, creepy and natural when rendered.
