OnSet Supervising – Banco do Brasil/Finance Support Ad

This is the most recent Tv Ad for “Banco do Brasil” (It’s a Bank name in Brazil), filmed/produced by O2Filmes for ARTPLAN . My main role on this project was doing On-Set Supervising for the O2 Post Production team (Flame&3D). Two Days of work along with the Director ( and Film Team on Set, to give the support on how to shoot each effect Scene. Rodrigo Elias, was on set with me, helping on supervising during the second shooting day, while i was photographing many textures and plates with my camera to be used on projections, 3d elements and reconstructions by the O2 team.
Please, don’t waste your time saying that’s a copy of the Lilli alen FuckYou Video clip… Guess What…I know it ! It was the main reference. That’s not MY PART of the job. But anyway, there’s a slight difference, on “Fuck You” and this one…The things are distorted, and on this ad, things are changing (and not beeing distorted). But anyway…

BOPE Logo, now Animated with sound !

New Post on MOTION DESIGN, this was originaly a static PSD file, so i’ve decided to make a progress video with the PSD layers, then i get lost my focus and animated everything, with sound. This logo was made for a Call of Duty 4 Clan (PlayStation3). This, is a mix of 3D parts, modified real photos and ilustration. This is my First time doing the Sound Design too. I’ve learned that After Effects was NOT made to edit sound Fx ! lol Click on the image and Check it out !

Bohemia Beer 990ml – Water Drop

This last month I was busy on some challenging (but fun) jobs… This is one of these. I am in the responsability to make a 20 second scene of a single water drop trickling by a bottle of beer in a Closeup shot… Here’s the final Tv Ad, and keep visiting my site, because i will be posting a making of very soon !:) The Job was made at O2Filmes // The Agency : DM9DDB

Trololo Baby for YoungLions

March was an insane month!
I’ve worked a lot ! I have co-directed this video (along with @laganaro) called TROLOLO BABY… An homage to the incredible Viral/Meme mostly known as “TROLOLO Song” on YouTube. Our mission was to reproduce the original video like a parody, but with a baby singing the same music. Babys can’t sing, so, our job was to develop a way to make this happen. It was hard, the result is not perfect, but it worked ! Anyway is a parody-video almost made for fun, and a very dificult task to acomplished in 5 days… Here’s the result. Stay tuned, cause i will post a making of on this site, soon.

2 PODCASTS About VFX

I’ve recorded ,as a guest,2 PodCasts with some friends. We’re talking about Visual Effects work (Nerdcast #228), and about VFX history (Rapaduracast ##225). Of course we are not able to talk about 10% of the subject, but it was very fun to make part of this editions. Lots of Laugh, jokes, a little bit about technical aspects, about workflow, the market, the production, etc. Both The PodCast are in Portuguese. I hope you listen to both and enjoy a lot !

Why Kumodot site is in english?

Hello There ! Welcome back again to my site . As you may notice, my site is in english, but i am from Brazil, so …WTF ? This is a hard resolution, but the intention of a site is to reach as much people as possible, so, english is a way to go. It’s good for me, and it force myself to my english learning and improvement, and for the readers too.

Anyway you can comment or talk to me in english or portuguese. Feel free to use your native language.

Of Course my website will have a lot of errors, and i hope to get rid of them as the time goes by.

I will be very happy to receive any “mistake and bug report” related to the site navigation, structure, or even my english errors.
